Things to do

With so much to see and do in Dorset and Hampshire, you’ll be spoilt for choice

Fabulous beaches, breathtaking walks, active watersports, miles and miles of cycling routes...the list goes on! You certainly won’t hear the words, “I’m bored” on a Chewton Cliff Lodges holiday.

There is also plenty to keep the young and young-at-heart entertained on the park itself.

Testimonials

We stayed in BM22 for 5 nights in April, the lodge was spotlessly clean, well equipped and a home from home. We had a very comfortable stay and sleep very well, the beds were so comfy! The outside deck area was lovely and sunny with a nice grass area in front for the children to play. Perfect stay, we will be back thank you.

We have been visiting Hobourne Naish site for many years enjoying the location on the cliff top and the ease of getting down to the beach for our walks to Mudeford Key . My wife and I have used both Hobourne and Hoseasons for our bookings until we came across Chewton Cliff Lodges which our daughter and family booked with, the lodge was immaculate and their stay most enjoyable. On their recommendation we gave them a try and since then have used Laurence for all our bookings over many years , nothing is to much trouble for him he is always there for you if needed . All the lodges we have stayed in have been spotlessly clean especially in the last year with the covid outbreak. We would highly recommend them for booking your holidays at Naish.

Another excellent break at Hoburne Naish. The staff are amazing and they are always improving the park. We believe it’s the best park on south coast. For many years we have booked through Chewtonclifflodges which is a private management company. We were worried about going away this year with Covid. But chewtonclifflodge ensured the lodge we had hired was spotless and the bedding 5 stars. They really go the extra way to make each break special and can’t do enough to help. Good job and thank you Laurence for making our stay perfect and we look forward to seeing you again in 2021.

For the past four years we’ve used Chewton Cliff Lodges many times, frequently enjoying three visits a year. The lodges are magnificent! They are spotlessly clean and they are modern and practical with some lovely touches. Our favourites are those at the front with the magnificent views of The Needles, Hengistbury Head and The Purbecks in the distance. Even when the holiday park is busy there’s peace and quiet here and a short but delightful stroll takes you to the beach. Our children love the lodges as much as us - it says a lot when a 4 year old says “Daddy I only want to go to our place looking over the sea” and gets so excited by just getting cosy in her bedroom or having breakfast on the veranda. Thanks to Laurence and his team for giving us the opportunity to enjoy many unforgettable

Great holiday park in great location. We've been coming to the park for years & years. I highly recommend it. We've always had a caravan but one year we thought we'd like to treat ourselves & have a luxury lodge & we haven't looked back, it's spotlessly clean with all the mod cons washing machine / dishwasher lovely for couples or family's it's lovely to be able to go away & haven't got to take your own bedding  it smell lovely & fresh when you put foot in the door it's very welcoming home from home. Yes I feel at home that's why we go every year it's our second home. The park is great it's near beaches shops restaurants great couldn't wish for anything else & lovely walks freedom. We love it & we hope you do to.

Anyone who dreams of escape and waking up to a tranquil vista of sea and sky from the window, with the lapping of waves from the beach below, and a decked terrace to relax and enjoy the far-reaching views will find the lodges at Chewton Cliff an idyllic retreat. With miles of beach path in both directions, a clifftop café, deli, and supermarkets all within a 10min walk from the lodge, together with the delights of Mudeford Quay, Hengistbury Head, and Christchurch just a short drive away it really is a fabulous place to stay. I booked for one week in 2014, loved it so much and booked two more holidays as a result!

My family and I have been staying at Hoburne Naish now for the past 5 years. We always book via Chewton Cliffs Lodges as they have a lovely portfolio which caters for all budgets.  More importantly the service and accommodation is ALWAYS second to none! We always leave feeling happy & refreshed.  We love all the mod cons plus accommodation is really comfortable and ever so warm and cosy.  Passes are also supplied for the onsite leisure facilities which is superb if you fancy a swim, a sauna or even a game of bingo and a boogie in the evenings.  Our children love it!  There are 6 of us going for a long weekend in March (all Mums) and really looking forward to a child free experience of total rest & relaxation! I always book for the sea views as its lovely to sit and read, glancing up to see the sea - very therapeutic! Top Tip: ALWAYS book in as early as possible as due to popularity the lodges book up early.  Enjoy!!

Our first visit to the lodges had a wow factor which returns each time we visit. Superb location with lots of historical memories for us when we used to visit as children some years ago. Well equipped and maintained lodges with all the latest creature comforts. Easy access to family friendly beaches and amenities, the New Forest and surrounding countryside with varied interesting features. Scenic vista from the Isle of Wight to Swanage from some lodges or from walks along the clifftops. Hence the reason why we have returned to the lodges for the last 7 years. Look forward to seeing you in July

We have been coming down to Christchurch / Highcliffe for many many years and love the surrounding area. We never tire of going to the same place and always find plenty to do and see. We love the walk from the lodge down to Mudeford Quay for lunch at The Haven and back again through the Castle grounds and along the beach. There are lots of lovely restaurants and cafes around. Chewton Cliff Lodges are a particular favourite of ours and are disappointed if we cannot get in, usually our own fault for not booking early enough. The lodges are luxurious and very well stocked with everything needed to make our holiday. Laurence is always willing to help should we need anything. The position of the lodges is excellent as you can have a relaxing holiday by the sea or you can join in the fun on the site (when we bring our grand children). So this is the reason why we keep coming back numerous times throughout the year.

We should also add that the Lodge was simply superb. From the first day until the last, we were blown away by the quality of the accommodation, the facilities within and its location overlooking the sea. Everything was first class, with all possible requirements having been carefully considered for ultimate guest comfort and enjoyment. We felt like we were staying with friends rather than staying in holiday accommodation, and it is not often you are made to feel special simply sitting outside on the decking area, watching the world go by. Thank you once again for making our holiday very special. We are already looking forward to next year!

We have enjoyed many holidays with Chewton Cliff Lodges. Booking is straight forward with friendly and efficient service. We stay in different lodges and have always found them to be very clean and well equipped with beds made up on arrival. The site is well maintained and is ideally situated, with lovely coastal walks. We have no hesitation in recommending Chewton Cliff Lodges and are looking forward to our forthcoming stays.
